Nokia cell phone help

i have nokia 6120 and when i connect usb to phone nothing pops up, i cant put music/vids in it or putt the pictures ive taken with the phone onto the computer i have a mem card in the phone but nothing is happeing still? please help me with any tips to slove this problem
