Looks like you largely agree with the Libertarian viewpoint. You might be getting confused by the term "liberal" as used in American politics -- the spend-happy, free-loving hippie. Outside traditional American politics, liberal indicates supporting freedom, fewer government restrictions. This latter definition describes a Libertarian.
