Truthfully please, do more gays come from Conservative or Liberal homes?

It would seem Liberal, however it seems that a lot of high profile Conservatives have gay family members: Newt Gingrich, Cheney, Phyllis Schaffly, Alan Keyes.......Any additions you can make? Have there ever been any surveys done on this?
