Should we be thankful the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor?

Very interesting. Did you know that radar picked up japanese plane formations coming in and were ordered to ignore them and not report? FDR needed something to unite the us populace and give a reason to enter war; this was it. History also does not mention the fact that in europe nobody was surprised when the japanese attacked pearl harbor; FDR had embargoed all oil from the phillipines, which the japanese needed for their china war efforts, which meanth they really had no choice but to seize the oilfields they needed. Had we continued to sell them oil they would never have attacked pearl harbor. Isn't it amazing how history repeats itself; it is all about the oil and money, invade and conquer, fight and die for the politicians wanting power. We, the people, get screwed as usual and its business as usual.
